Hello!
This week we learned about V... vegetables and volcanoes! We taste-tested some veggies, and made a graph of our favorites. Many students tried something new, and often they liked it!
We also made baking soda/vinegar volcanoes. For some, it was really exciting, and for some it was a little underwhelming. Once we figured out the right ratio of vinegar to baking soda, it was more fun! Many of the students know new vocabulary words relating to volcanoes, including lava and erupt.
Please continue working with your child on the tripod grip when writing and coloring. It's important that we instill these writing habits early, so that these kiddos can have the best chance for success as they move toward kindergarten! If you want tips on the tripod grip, please let me know!
I sent home new April book orders which are due on the 21st. If you'd like to order, please do so online, and use our classroom code: P8B98. :) Each book your order earns books for our classroom! Read on!
Please continue to buckle up your children in the car. Preschool children should always be in the back seat, with a carseat or booster, and a three-point seatbelt. Your child's safety is our first priority.
