This month, we have studied letters D, F, H, and J. Next month, we'll talk about K, L, M, N. September was a full month and I now feel like the kiddos are comfortable at school!
COMING UP...
There will be no school on October 2 due to a teacher inservice.
There will be no school on October 9-10 due to fall break.
Picture retake day is October 17.
October 3-6 is Homecoming Week and there will be dress up days that week, if you choose to participate.
Monday - no school
Tuesday - preschoolers wear orange
Wednesday - career day
Thursday - hat day
October 11-13 is Fire Safety Week. We'll be talking about how to prevent and handle dangerous fires.
TO PRACTICE AT HOME...
A NOTE FROM THE TEACHER...
Mrs. McArthur and I are having a blast with this group! We introduced musical instruments during free choice time, and it's been a favorite for the kids (maybe not the teachers...😆). The preschoolers have studied the five senses, apples, and dinosaurs. We've seen improvements with name recognition (thank you!) and we've seen many students handle social problems with their words.
This is such a fun time of year, and it's amazing to see little minds grow so quickly!
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns! My information can be found on the contact page of this blog.
Here are a few photos from the last month. Enjoy!
