Reminders:
We only have THREE days left of preschool this year! The last full day of preschool will be Wednesday, May 18 for both classes. Enjoy your summer!
PM Class will have graduation on Thursday, May 19 at 10:00am. Please bring your child to the preschool classroom by 9:40 so that we can get ready. The ceremony will begin at 10 in the school auditorium. Please dress your child in cute, comfortable clothes, and don't forget to bring one dozen of something (cookies, brownies, etc.) to share. There will be a reception in our classroom following the ceremony, very much like we did for the holiday program.
As always, if you have any questions, please let me know!

This week, we said goodbye to our wonderful senior student aides, Miss Taryn and Miss Jade. They'll be missed! We also studied community helpers in our own school. We visited a chef, a librarian, a musician, a scientist, a Spanish speaker, a carpenter/mechanic, some coaches, and a member of the U.S. Army. The kids loved every minute of it!
As the year comes to a close, I've sent home their individual GOLD data. This is the tool we use to measure growth and monitor progress. You'll be familiar with this from Fall conferences. All of our students proved growth in multiple areas! If your child has not grown (or has moved backwards) in certain areas, please don't panic. The shaded areas of the chart indicate where we'd like to see them be. Unless the jump backwards is ENORMOUS, please don't be too concerned.
If you have questions, please let me know. :)
