We've had a great start to the school year! Home visits are completed and the students are learning how school works! We've been studying the letter B, and the life cycle of the butterfly. Quiz your preschooler!
COMING UP...
There is no school on Monday, September 4, due to Labor Day.
Picture Day is Wednesday, September 6.
Your GOLD Parent Survey is due Thursday, September 14. If you've already returned yours - thank you!
Scholastic Book Orders are due Thursday, September 21.
TO PRACTICE AT HOME...
A NOTE FROM THE TEACHER...
With your help, we’d like the preschoolers to become independent with certain tasks. We need your help to do this. Please say your goodbyes before the child enters the classroom. We have a full day of learning ahead, and we need your help to start on time. By providing opportunities for children to do things on their own, we’re building their self-help skills and their confidence. Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.
Additionally, if your child arrives late to school (after 8:00am or 12:10pm), you'll need to sign them in through the office. I understand that life happens and sometimes you run late, so thank you for understanding our policy.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns! My information can be found on the contact page of this blog.
Here are a few photos from our first weeks at school. Enjoy!
